Anthony Spino grew up in a traditional Italian family in the Midwest and learned to cook in his family's traditional Italian restaurant, Anthony's, in Kansas City. He moved to New York in his early 30s, changing his traditional lifestyle along the way and completely upsetting the natural balance of the world. Since then he's worked in the kitchens of some of the best vegan, plant-based and vegetarian chefs in the country, learning a whole new kind of cooking. Now he's going back to his roots, making those traditional Italian recipes in a whole new untraditional way, using plant-based ingredients that will knock your meat-loving socks off. And he wants nothing more than to bring that food into your home/office/bunker/happy place.
